Buyer's Backup
If you're living in Rwanda and planning to buy a second-hand piano, or even a new one, you might want an experienced set of eyes to look it over. You can't always tell just by playing a piano whether it's in good working order or not - you need to open it up and explore.
Damage doesn't necessarily mean that the instrument is not worth buying. Many minor issues can be fixed easily and inexpensively. However some issues, such as pin slippage, rusted strings or a cracked soundboard, can be extremely costly to repair and greatly reduce the life of the instrument.
If you're in Kigali, we can send an experienced professional along for FRW 45,000 to check that everything is in working order. We're happy to travel outside Kigali provided transport and, where necessary, accommodation is reimbursed.
