We highly recommend Bonani. He runs a music school for children in Nyamirambo but also teached adults and provides home tuition. He teaches piano, guitar, violin, cello, drums, saxophone, clarinet, flute, singing and traditional inanga. Find out more here.

Piano Age Calculator
Ever wondered how old your piano is? Most pianos have a serial number printed on the string frame. You might have to search around for it, but if you know the maker and the serial number, you can enter it into the Piano Age Calculator and find out. There is a nominal $5 fee, but it's worth it to keep the database running and satisfy your curiosity.
Tuning Apps
When it comes to piano tuning apps, there really is only one: TuneLab. It's available as an app for Android, Apple and Windows computers. There's a free trial version available.
